Recently my friend whom i met when buying my airticket last December told me that her customer is looking for an admin assistant and asked if i was interested. Of course i said yes because i really need to start somewhere in my career.
After a week of waiting the boss himself called me around 8.30pm at night on thursday. I never got a call for an interview at night but i guess he was really busy and when he called he was in Sydney. I was watching Indiana Jones when he called and can't really watch the movie properly as i have to answer the call. The next day after the call i went for an interview. I was meant to meet up a guy name Terry but he was sick so in the end i was interviewed by the managing director himself. He was happy with me because he himself said so but need to discuss with the guy name Terry. He was like asking if its ok for me to work 3 days a week for a start and i said why not and i still can work in the kebab shop for 2 days. The reason he wanted me to just work temporary part time is because he was going away for a business trip to China next wednesday and he is going for 3 to 4 weeks. After he comes back he will make me a full time staff. So we shall see till then.
I was happy when i got the call because i've been longing for a job so i'm excited. Hopefully things will turn out well. Life seems to be so busy nowadays and after work in kebab i never get to get the time to relax even after when i come home. Today i worked for 10 hours in the kebab shop as some of my friends from the shop are going for the hair show so only 3 of us left working. Tiring but thinking how much money im earning im happy. hehe... It's all worth it!!!
