Every Mile Counts

i seriously don't even know what does ekka means but its a must thing in Brisbane every year. the festival or carnival will last for 10 days the most but because there's flu around in Brisbane, they extended it. i went last Tuesday and Wednesday was a public holiday for people going to the festival. to avoid the crowd on Wednesday, we went on Tuesday. last year when i went on the public holiday, it was pack with people and you need to squeeze through people.

the entrance fee is AUD$16 for students. you get to see animals, dogs show, food tasting for free. i bought 3 punnets of strwberries for just $5 which is really a bargain. haha...this year i didn't get to see animals because we can't find it and we went there late. decided not to go that early this year because we wanted to watch the fireworks. nothing much from last year. most of the stalls are exactly in the same place so i don't feel much excitement this time.

bf finally won a doll for me this year. was really happy because last year i just got small dolls but this huge doll can't be hug as they are hard. my another guy friend also won the Simpson's Bart. it was fun playing the games and getting prices even though its small. but was angry because one of the worker cheated our money. we played two games but gave us only 2 small consolation prizes saying that the guys don't need any. so dishonest. should have taken his picture down. never knew that ang moh also can do something like that.

i also get to buy a Garfield showbag. i won't be putting up the pictures because camera is spoilt. sigh... the inconvinence of having no camera. must really get one soon so i can upload more photos. actually giving myself an encouragement to buy. haha...
